Michael Burton

View using Adobe Reader. Michael Burton is 23 years old, a St. Louis native and a proud CBC graduate. He has performed in over 60 productions with THE MUNY, Stages St. Louis, Fox Theatre (Nutcracker), Webster University, Crestwood/Kirkwood Youth Theater, Characters and Co. and several area high school productions. In 2001, Michael made his Broadway debut in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and credits this to Sheila Dugan and Tom Murray. He has also appeared in the HBO moves The Big Brass Ring and Soul of the Game. He has appeared in the NBC mini-series A Will of Their Own. Michael's favorite roles include Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, Matt in The Fantasticks, and Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls. Michael currently teaches jazz and hip hop for the Center of Creative Arts (COCA). Michael recently choreographed Oliver for the Kirkwood/Crestwood Youth Theatre. This summer you can enjoy Michael performing in Meet Me in St. Louis at Stages St. Louis. Michael Burton studies voice with Sheila Dugan, dance with Mark Krupinski and Lee Nolting, and acting with Tom Murray. He would like to thank all of his past and present teachers, family, parents, and brother Elliot for all of their endless support.
