Kate Talbert attended Indiana University for the first two years of her college career, pursuing a B.A. in vocal performance. She studied with Professor Dale Moore while at IU. Kate has been a continuing voice student of Sheila Dugan's throughout high school and college. She will begin her studies at Webster University in 2005, to pursue a degree in arts administration with a concentration in non-profit public relations, while continuing to perform.

Kate's most notable musical accomplishments, besides winning a music scholarship to attend Indiana University in vocal performance, were the roles of Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, Rusty in Footloose, and Joanne in Godspell. She has also won several awards for singing at the Milliken University Vocal Festival.
